Carol is a Leither with a wealth of experience in local community activities. She has over 20 years involvement with the Academy Arts group at Duncan Place Community Hub.  Since the closure and threatened demolition of the building in 2014, she has been the Chair of the Duncan Place Board of Trustees campaigning to save and re-open the building.  She knows first-hand the value of community groups and classes.

Colm is an ex Commercial Property Bank Manager who has lived in Leith for over 20 years.  Colm has had a recent career change and now works within the Early Years sector.  Colm is currently the treasurer of Duncan Place Community Hub.

Steve Paige Duncan Place Board

Steve Paige has lived in Leith for almost 20 years and loves the vibrancy of the area.  Steve's career is in Sports Development and he is passionate about the positive power of sports to change lives.  He is the CEO of Triathlon Scotland, has coached at an international level and shares his knowledge of charity governance with the other trustees and staff.

Sandra Lawrie Duncan Place Board

Sandra Lawrie  was co-opted to the Board in early 2020 and then voted on as a full member in 2021. Sandra provides oversight and advice on Facilities and Building Management. Having retired from a long managerial career supporting academic research and public sector administration, she has particular expertise in troubleshooting refurbished building issues.

Andy Sneddon Duncan Place Board

Andy Sneddon is a resident of Leith and has over 30 years experience of working in banking, undertaking a variety of roles. Outside of work Andy enjoys sports, music, eating out and building Lego. Andy supports the Duncan Place trustees with financial expertise and knowledge.
