Many parents need help, friendship, advice or support during those early years when children are young. There is no rulebook for raising a family and sometimes it can seem overwhelming, particularly if your family is going through difficult times. But if you can get the support you need when you need it, then day-to-day family life and your children’s future can be so much brighter. Home Start Edinburgh Support parents with young children at home and recruit and train volunteers to provide this support. Additionally, as part of its ongoing programme, HSE runs regular parent and children groups and arranges social events for referred families.
Edinburgh College
Edinburgh College was formed on 1 October 2012 as part of the merger of Edinburgh's Jewel and Esk, Telford, and Stevenson colleges. ESOL classes are held within Duncan Place.
Kin Collective
Kin Collective Wellbeing CIC is a community hub based in Edinburgh that connects families. We provide a space supporting physical, mental and emotional well-being in pregnancy and early parenthood and a place to meet, share and connect.
