Trustee/ Voluntary adviser
If you would be interested in joining the board of trustees please apply here. As an appointed or elected individual you and the other trustees have overall responsibility for the management of Duncan Place SCIO. The board of trustees at Duncan Place are all volunteers that seek to ensure the best interest of stakeholders in all types of management decision. If you cannot commit fully to being a board trustee, then you could apply here to be a voluntary adviser.
Steering group member
Monitoring Duncan Place Board and its development; Providing advice (and sometimes making decisions) about changes to the goals and direction. The Steering Group provides support, guidance and oversight of progress. There can be more than one steering group, focusing on different aspects of the boards responsibilities, e.g. an events Steering group, a marketing Steering group, or a community engagement Steering group.
Duncan Place Member
If you are one of the 100 plus members of Duncan Place then you know that you are already part of shaping Leith's newest Community and Enterprise hub. You are more important than steeing group members and board trustees. As a member your voice is critical to the development of Duncan Place in Leith. Membership entitles you attend the AGM throughout the year. We want to develop further benefits for members as Duncan Place becomes a success. Join us!
