Community Cinema Screening: PRIDE
We continue our community cinema screenings with PRIDE (2014).
PRIDE is inspired by an extraordinary true story. It's the summer of 1984, Margaret Thatcher is in power and the National Union of Mineworkers is on strike, prompting a London-based group of gay and lesbian activists to raise money to support the strikers' families. Initially rebuffed by the Union, the group identifies a tiny mining village in Wales and sets off to make their donation in person. As the strike drags on, the two groups discover that standing together makes for the strongest union of all...

Tickets
This event is for adults aged 16+.
Donation Tickets: We'd suggest either £2, £4, or £6 on a pay-what-you-can basis, depending on your disposable income. This help cover our costs (film licensing, etc) and helps us to continue these community cinema screenings. We really appreciate it.
Donation ticketing on Eventbrite means that you can only order for one person at a time. Please order a separate ticket for each person coming along.
We have a limited number of free tickets available for those that really need it. Contact us on events@duncanplace.org if this applies to you. No questions asked.
