SUMMARY:Duncan Place Music Circle
DESCRIPTION:Music Circles provide us with the perfect way to have fun\, express ourselves\, beat stress and connect with our community. In our Community Music Circle\, we will create ‘in the moment’ music with drums\, percussion\, voices and other easy to play melodic instruments. Join in whatever way you can and are comfortable with. Drums and percussion provided (or bring your own). \nMusic Circle information\nThere’s no need to book. Just come along. \nStart time is 7:30pm (running until 8:45pm). Please arrive five/ten minutes before the start time. \nOur music circles are for adults (minimum age 16). \nEach session costs £3\, paid by cash or card at the reception desk when you arrive. \nWe welcome Morag from Moving Music to lead our music circles. \nIf you have any questions\, please email events@duncanplace.org or call 0131 3644351. \nMorag from Moving Music\n\n\n\n		\n	\n\n\n\n	Morag is a qualified Drum Circle Facilitator\, Music Medicine Practitioner\, and Social Worker. Morag is also trained to deliver sessions in Expressive Rhythm stories and Rythym2Recovery. \nMorag has over 20 years’ experience providing opportunities for individuals and communities to explore the moving power of music. She has worked with people from all walks of life and is passionate in her belief that we are all musicians. Using easy to play and unusual instruments her inclusive friendly and fun approach creates a safe space to play.
